Preliminary Print Exercise

Task:

I have completed my preliminary magazine exercise, by completing a magazine front cover and contents page. I produced the front page of a new school magazine, featuring a photograph of a student in a medium close-up plus some appropriately laid-out text and a mast head.

Target Audience:

I have aimed my magazine front cover and contents page at the teenagers of the school. It aims to attract teenagers, who are looking for ways to increase their quality of life at school and also ways they could be popular.

The image I have included on both the front cover and the contents page, represents a 'cool' teenager at school, which would attract those looking to increase their social status.

Adobe Fireworks Software:

To create the magazine front cover and the contents page, I used the Adobe Fireworks Software. I learnt a range of different functions on the software, such as, the different tools, which helped to create an interesting background, page layout and font.
